Caregivers play an increasingly important role in the treatment of cancer patients, as well as in life after cancer treatment. The caregiver experience can differ greatly from finding meaning and purpose in caring for the sick to having one’s life and health negatively impacted. While attention to caregivers has improved through access to resources and research, the experiences of Indigenous caregivers and caregivers of Indigenous cancer patients is still relatively unknown.
