Nora Vonnegut MPP / MPH
Prevention & Policy Specialist

Nora’s work in equity began in college at St. Catherine’s University in St. Paul, where she graduated with a BA in Political Science. While working in client services at Open Arms of Minnesota, an organization that provides meals for individuals living with chronic or life-threatening conditions, cancer being a common diagnosis, Nora had the opportunity to talk directly with clients and listen to their stories. These stories prompted her to return to school for an MPP and MPH at the University of Minnesota, with the hope of returning to health equity work from a prevention standpoint. Nora is very excited to start her health equity journey working with Tribal Nations with AICAF. Outside of work, Nora fosters dogs that are training to become assistance dogs, along with doting on the family dog.
